Job Description:

Join our Engineering Team at Telent to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts who take pride in their impactful work. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex and critical tasks, helping to maintain the nation's vital infrastructure connectivity and security 24/7.

The NOC (Network Operations Centre) Technician provides administrative support to the NOC engineering team, ensuring incident resolution in line with procedures and contractual KPIs. The role involves working on a 24/7, 365-day shift rota.

Responsibilities:
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, responding according to KPIs.
  • Create network incident tickets based on customer reports.
  • Action Service Requests.
  • Allocate and dispatch tickets to technical support, field engineering, and other service providers.
  • Manage incident tickets with regular updates.
  • Coordinate traffic management with relevant teams and providers.
  • Communicate with customers about network incidents.
  • Collaborate with utility companies during power-related network issues.
Candidate Profile:

Previous experience supporting Enterprise and Service Provider Networks, ideally within a NOC environment.

Key Requirements:
  • Experience with 1st Line diagnostics and incident resolution.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
