At Teaching Personnel, we are looking to recruit Secondary School Cover Supervisors for flexible needs for our schools in East Sussex.

Role Overview:

As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in maintaining continuity of education in the absence of regular teaching staff. You will oversee classes and ensure that pre-prepared work is completed by students. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals considering a career in education or those seeking flexible work within the sector.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Supervise classes across various subjects and year groups in the absence of regular teaching staff.
  2. Manage classroom behaviour and ensure a positive learning environment.
  3. Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task.
  4. Provide support to students who may require assistance with tasks.
  5. Report back on the progress and behaviour of students during the lesson.
