To be successful as a Product and Proposition Manager, you should have:
- Proven experience of driving product transformation.

- Deep technical acumen from delivering API-based products and working directly with engineers daily.
- Examples of establishing rapid feedback loops, delivering incremental customer value, and dynamically prioritising a backlog based on data and results.

- Proven experience of working in agile environments and applying agile methodologies.

Purpose of the role
To manage and develop existing and new products and/or services; ownership of related customer and colleague journeys; developing the product strategy; driving change through Barclays execution teams; making key decisions in the product lifecycle; and owning associated outcomes for customers, colleagues, and the bank, achieved through appropriate service level agreements, regulatory compliance, risk management, and controls.
Accountabilities
- Development of customer-level strategies and solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Subject Matter Expert in the applicable Product/Proposition team, confidently guiding stakeholders on product and journey applications.
- Development of product propositions and service strategies, defining priorities, and leading execution.
- Developing different commercial and business models through a strong understanding of financial drivers.
- Evaluating technical feasibility, legal compliance, and risks related to new product launches.
- Monitoring market trends and feedback to refine products before launch.
- Managing comprehensive launch plans and technical deployments, establishing timelines, marketing strategies, training, and communication channels.
- Monitoring key metrics such as adoption, usage, customer satisfaction, and revenue to assess performance.
