Compliance Manager

MERJE is seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager for a leading insurance group in the Lloyd's and London market. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team, providing senior compliance support and guidance across the organisation.

Location: London - Hybrid (2 days home working / 3 days office)

The Role

Key Responsibilities of the Compliance Manager:

1. Provide senior compliance support and advice to Group and Divisional Management
2. Review and manage new and existing counterparty relationships
3. Oversee delegated authority agreements and financial crime prevention measures
4. Maintain and update compliance policies and procedures
5. Develop and deliver compliance training programmes

Required Knowledge and Experience for the Compliance Manager Role:

1. Extensive knowledge of FCA compliance requirements for wholesale and reinsurance business
2. In-depth understanding of Lloyd's, ICOBS, and SMCR regulations
3. Strong familiarity with Lloyd's and London market operations
4. Excellent communication and analytical skills
5. Professional accreditation (e.g., CII or ICA) is advantageous
