We are looking for a CAMO Engineer to join our team in Aberdeen. The CAMO Engineer is responsible for conducting Airworthiness Reviews on company aircraft, including physical inspections and review of aircraft data, to ensure aircraft remain airworthy. This role involves reviewing physical and electronic data, carrying out inspections in a busy hangar environment, and making recommendations to the CAMO Manager for corrective actions to maintain fleet airworthiness.
The key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the review and assessment of aircraft maintenance history, modification applications, component installations, and repairs for Airworthiness Renewals and recommendations.
- Supporting the analysis and review of airworthiness engineering data, including Airworthiness Directives, Service Bulletins, and maintenance program completeness.
- Participating in the development and improvement of Continuing Airworthiness Organisation processes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Utilizing the company MRO system to ensure fleet configuration standards and airworthiness tasks are properly embodied, interpreting system reports, and making necessary changes.
- Conducting Airworthiness Review Root Cause Corrective Actions meetings to identify trends and suggest improvements.
- Performing physical inspections or surveys on aircraft to assess compliance with company standards.
- Supporting operational and departmental objectives as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A degree in aviation or a relevant engineering discipline (mechanical, electrical, electronic, avionics, etc.) focused on aircraft maintenance and airworthiness.
- A UK CAA/EASA Part-66 B or C license, with proficiency in associated regulations.
- Experience in CAMO activities, airworthiness records, or aircraft maintenance, either as a technician, maintenance staff, or in a safety and quality department.
- Experience with Aviation ERP systems such as AMOS, SAP, IFS, Helisoft, or Rusada is desirable.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of presenting technical information to diverse audiences.
- Eligibility to hold a CAA Form 4.
- Team orientation, time management skills, and the ability to demonstrate these qualities.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- A valid passport for international travel.
- Eligibility for a UK/Aberdeen airport airside pass.
- The right to live and work in the UK.
