Your Role as a Pharmacy Assistant

• Assist in dispensing medications under the supervision of a pharmacist, maintaining accuracy and legal compliance.
• Provide exceptional customer service, making all patients feel heard, supported, and valued.
• Maintain an organised and efficient workflow within the pharmacy team.
• Manage inventory by organising, stocking, and ensuring the integrity of pharmaceuticals.
• Use computer systems to process prescriptions, manage stock levels, and handle customer queries.
• Keep the pharmacy environment clean and orderly.

Who Are We Looking For?

The ideal candidate will have:

• Basic pharmacy knowledge, preferably with an NVQ2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent experience.
• Excellent customer service skills with warmth, empathy, and patience.
• A keen eye for detail to ensure safety and accuracy.
• Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
• Computer literacy and willingness to learn pharmacy software systems.
• Good communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability in a busy environment.

Working Hours & Benefits

This role offers a schedule promoting work-life balance: Monday 17:00-21:00 and Saturday 09:00-13:00. Please ensure your availability for these hours before applying.
