A Regional Contractor specialising in Civil Rail is looking for a Junior/Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work on projects within their Network Rail Framework. Projects can range from £500k – £10m in value, and the candidate will be heavily involved in assisting the commercial team on a number of projects.
Ideal Candidate Will Be:
- Degree or HNC Qualified in Quantity Surveying and Commercial Management
- Some experience within civil engineering, specifically rail
- Looking to progress within a career in Quantity Surveying
- Have a basic understanding of NEC and potentially NR contracts
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Support the commercial team with running various projects
- Assist with sub-contract procurement
- Manage existing sub-contractors
- Attend CVR Meetings
- Client liaison
- Prepare Monthly Reports
- Work closely with operational teams to secure the best commercial result
To be considered for this role, you will be seeking a permanent position, be eligible to live and work in the UK, and hold a full driving licence.
