A leading provider of special needs education seeks a Lead Clinician to manage their clinical team at Orchards Manor School. This role involves delivering tailored assessments and interventions for pupils with complex needs, while also supervising staff and contributing to training programs. The ideal candidate will have a recognized degree in Occupational Therapy or Speech & Language Therapy, along with relevant professional registration and experience in the field.
Location: Orchards Manor School, Norfolk, PE34 3HT
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, 52 weeks
Essential: Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle required
We are seeking a Lead Clinician to manage our in-house Clinical Team at Orchards Manor School in Norfolk. The successful candidate will collaborate with the Senior Leadership Team and the Clinical Locality Lead, balancing clinical leadership with holding a therapy caseload.
The role involves delivering bespoke assessments and intervention plans for pupils with complex needs related to autism, neurodivergence, developmental trauma, and SEMH. You will also coordinate line management of the clinical team onsite and contribute to staff training and consultation.
This position requires a resilient and enthusiastic individual with a therapeutic approach, decision-making skills, and the ability to manage workload and supervise others. You will work within service policies to support the integration of clinical services into the school's daily operations, including assessments, advice, consultation, and direct interventions.
