Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Solicitor 0-2 PQE to join their Employment Team. This is a great opportunity for someone who has the drive and enthusiasm to further their career, build strong client relationships and help to grow the team.

Responsibilities:
  1. Advise and assist clients in relation to their matters, ensuring a high level of client service is maintained at all times and that the client’s aims are met (subject to professional and regulatory requirements).
  2. Manage all aspects of the client relationship, from engagement to billing and chasing payment.
  3. Prepare and review legal documents.
  4. Ensure compliance with all file management processes, including those related to file audits.
  5. Work as a team with colleagues in promoting the interests of Howes Percival and in undertaking their role.
  6. Comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements.
  7. Update and consult with Senior Associates and Partners.
  8. Manage client cases from start to finish.
Requirements:
  1. Ability to deal with straightforward transactions, including unfamiliar tasks which present a range of problems.
  2. Acceptable standard achieved routinely.
  3. Uses own judgement but may need supervision at differing levels of transaction.
  4. Identifies the legal principles relevant to the area of practice and applies them appropriately.
  5. Uses experience to check the information provided.
