Job Description

This is a fixed-term, part-time position until 20th December 2025, working 17.5 hours per week. The salary is pro-rata based on hours worked.

Reporting directly to the Head Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering an efficient clerical and administrative service supporting the operations of Lennox Primary School. Your duties include managing the school office, providing a welcoming reception, responding to inquiries, maintaining accurate school data, and performing general office tasks such as photocopying, filing, mail handling, assisting with transportation and trips, and routine cash handling. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and excellent organisational and communication skills are essential.

Requirements

This role involves regulated work with children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Membership with the PVG scheme is required, or you must undergo a PVG scheme update check before an offer is made.

Responsibilities

The employment is excepted from the provisions of section 4(2) of the Rehabilitation of Offenders (Exceptions) Order 1975. Applicants must disclose all convictions, including spent ones; failure to do so may result in dismissal or disciplinary action.
