Station Systems Technician Early & Late Shifts (Level 4) - On-site in United Kingdom

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions impacting national infrastructure. Be part of a high-performing team performing complex, critical work to maintain and build the nation's infrastructure.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the successful candidate will conduct planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, SISS (Station Information and Security Systems).

The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between early shifts (6am-6pm) and late shifts (12pm-12am).

Responsibilities include:

• Assisting qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens.
• Attending planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks.
• Maintaining SISS assets and reporting station communication faults.
• Using field IT equipment to provide real-time maintenance data.
• Liaising with Telent Service Centre for tasking, fault updates, and completion.

Ideal Candidate:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who can multitask and enjoy learning. Experience in a similar role or understanding of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

• CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background.
• Good understanding of O365 and IT awareness.
• Problem-solving and fault-finding skills.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between early and late shifts.
