If you are an enthusiastic vet looking to join a great team in a fantastic location, we have the role for you at Buckingham Vets4Pets.
You will join a small, dedicated team committed to excellent customer service and pet healthcare. Our team includes the practice owner and head vet, a part-time vet, practice coordinator, head nurse, two registered veterinary nurses, three student veterinary nurses, one veterinary care assistant, and three receptionists. We also benefit from the support of locum vets and nurses who work regularly with us, reflecting the welcoming environment our team fosters.
Since opening ten years ago, we have grown a loyal client base and handle a diverse case load typical of a first opinion practice. We pride ourselves on delivering the highest standard of clinical and client care professionally and reliably.
Our modern facility features a well-equipped operating theatre, multiple consult rooms, digital x-ray, isolation unit, separate dog and cat wards, ultrasound, in-house laboratory, and laser therapy.
The role is full-time, working 40 hours per week, with consideration for part-time hours. There are no out-of-hours duties, and we offer flexible scheduling to support work/life balance. The weekend rota involves working one in three Saturdays (8 am - 6 pm), which we are happy to discuss.
The position involves a mix of consultations and surgeries, providing time to build cases and develop your skills and client relationships.
We seek an experienced veterinary surgeon with excellent communication skills, a solid understanding of first opinion practice, and the ability to work independently when needed. You will work well within a supportive team environment.
You will have opportunities to work up cases, participate in routine and non-routine consultations, and perform surgeries.
We support career development and are committed to helping you grow and achieve your professional goals.
