As a Retail Shift Manager at Lidl, you’ll help us maintain our high standards day after day. From motivating your team to taking responsibility for the shop floor, you’ll keep our store running like clockwork, thriving in a fast-paced and challenging environment. In return, we offer a competitive hourly pay rate based on our pay structures, plus an extra £2.00 per hour for work during bank holidays and £3.50 per hour for night shifts, along with a generous benefits package supporting your well-being and life outside Lidl.

What you'll do
Motivate and support your team, learning from our Leadership and Company Principles.
Swiftly solve problems and delegate tasks.
Create an environment where your colleagues can succeed alongside you.
Manage operations within your Store and colleagues in the absence of the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager.
Handle freshness, cash processes, inventory, and stock management to ensure smooth shifts.
Provide our customers with the best experience every time they visit your store.
What you'll need
Experience leading a team to achieve targets in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to delegate tasks effectively and motivate your team.
Patience and a friendly manner, with the ability to stay calm in any situation.
Passion to thrive as part of the Store Team.
A proactive and encouraging approach to help your colleagues develop themselves and store operations.
