Perth & Kinross Council is looking for a Project Assistant to support the exciting Buses 2030 Transport Transformation Project - a bold initiative to develop a model for shaping the future of sustainable transport in our region.

Although the post is advertised as full time, we welcome applications from suitable candidates on a part-time or full-time basis.

Skills & Experience Required

As a key member of our project team, you'll:

  • Support the Project Lead in delivering a high-impact transport transformation programme.
  • Coordinate project activities, meetings, and workshops.
  • Manage project documentation and ensure effective version control.
  • Act as the first point of contact for project-related enquiries.
  • Help monitor performance and contribute to insightful project reports.

Experience

  • Proven experience supporting project work and coordinating project administration.
  • Experience working with the public and stakeholders in a project environment.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload effectively.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of public transport services delivery.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and use initiative.
  • Understanding of project governance and performance monitoring.

You must have a valid driving licence as this post requires you to travel to various locations across Perth and Kinross.
