Job title: Senior Electronics Design Engineer
Location: Glasgow, Scotland
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Due to ongoing success and development, a world-class engineering organization based in Glasgow (Scotland), specializing in Electronics, Industrial, Instrumentation sectors, and more, is actively seeking to hire 2 Senior Electronics Design Engineers on a permanent basis. This role is ideal for Senior Electronics Design Engineers or mid-level engineers aiming for career progression and ready to demonstrate their motivation to advance to a senior position.

Work arrangement, relocation & sponsorship assistance:

3-4 days onsite with the rest WFH. Relocation assistance and sponsorship are provided.

Salary:

The offered salary for the successful candidate is £45,000-£55,000 per annum.

Key Skills:

• 3-5+ years industry experience
• Experience in full product design lifecycle from concept
• Board level design and mixed signal electronics experience
• Microcontroller, mixed analogue and digital circuit design experience
• Practical skills in Schematics Capture, Layout, and PCB design (Altium or similar tools)
• Network interfaces – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, RS232/485
• Understanding of DFT & DFM principles
• Product compliance & safety knowledge – EMC, LVD, CE Marking
• Debugging, simulation, and validation skills
• Technical documentation creation and maintenance
• Experience in industrial electronic engineering
• Good communication and teamwork skills

Nice to have skills:

• PID controlled systems experience
• Embedded C programming
• FPGA Development – Verilog
• Microcontrollers – STM32, ARM Cortex
• Product lifecycle management (PLM) software familiarity
• Agile development experience
• Experience with Toradex modules
• Test equipment development for production support
• Mentoring and coaching junior engineers
