As a Junior Merchandiser, you'll take full ownership of your categories, driving the trading strategy and performance. You'll be accountable for weekly trade reporting, identifying key actions, and collaborating with the wider team to drive results. This role involves managing rebuys, phasing, and cancellations based on trade data, while working closely with your buyer to optimise OTB and drive newness each week.
You'll be hands-on in managing WSSI, forecasting and planning for seasonal lines, and tracking stock vs. sales to protect line cards. Working with your buyer, you'll contribute to range builds, monitor key dates like Black Friday, and ensure pricing strategies align with market trends.
Your role will also involve mentoring Assistant Merchandisers and junior team members, delegating tasks effectively, and identifying 'quick wins' to maximise sales.
