We are looking for a Solutions Architect with strong Subscription Management, specifically Zuora experience to play a key role in optimising business and technology change within the context of our subscription management strategy.

The subscription management solution architect’s role is to evaluate all business requirements subscription management and come up with solutions in the form of products or services. Once they are given a problem, solution architects are not only in charge of finding answers but also of actively leading the technical vision to success.

Responsibilities:

The Subscriptions Management Solutions Architect will demonstrate competencies across four key dimensions:

• Interpret Business Needs: Translates subscription business and technical requirements into an architectural blueprint to achieve business objectives and documents all solution architecture design and analysis work.
• Assess Technology: Monitors the current-state solution portfolio in the subscription function to identify deficiencies through aging of the technologies used by the application, or misalignment with business requirements.
• Apply Technology: Leads evaluation, design and analysis for the implementation of a solutions architecture across a group of specific and associated business applications or technologies based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities, value-streams, business requirements and enterprise standards.
• Provides deliverables like high level design and low-level designs against AVEVA’s standard definitions, reference models and architecture designs to support architectural governance to assess the impact of new and ongoing technology investment on the business and IT estate.

Skills and qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience
• A minimum of five years of experience in an IT solution development discipline
• Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies, platforms, and processing environments but specifically around subscriptions technologies.
• Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models
• Good understanding of product management, agile principles and development methodologies and capability of supporting agile teams by providing advice and guidance on opportunities, impact and risks, taking account of technical and architectural debt
• Experience working in a relevant industry is helpful, but not required
• Experience developing architecture blueprints, strategies and roadmaps
• Experience delivering presentations to senior-level executives and technical audiences
• Experience of design and solutioning of Zuora is essential
• A broad experience of subscription tools
• Good understanding of various database technologies
• Data savvy with knowledge of various aspects of a technology architecture like integration, network and security
• Proven analytical, planning, organizational and technical and skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
