Job description

Job Description: Welder Fabricator

Our client, an industry leader in designing bespoke generator enclosures from start to finish, is seeking 4 welder fabricators for a temporary to permanent position.

Rate of Pay: £14.50 - £17.00 per hour (PAYE)

Overtime is paid at 1.5x.

Hours of Work:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 - 16:00
• Friday: 07:00 - 13:00

Note: An initial weld test is required before starting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Previous experience as a metal fabricator welder.
• Experience working with mild steel, Zintec, and galvanized sheet, ranging from 0.9mm to 30mm.
• Proficiency in operating overhead cranes is advantageous.
• Welding certifications or experience are a plus.
• Strong understanding of engineering design and manufacturing procedures.
• Ability to read and interpret 2D and 3D engineering drawings.
• Proficiency with metal fabrication tools.
• Good mathematical and engineering skills.
• Ability to lift and manipulate large metal objects safely.
