Are you ready to kick-start your career in a fast-paced and rewarding environment? We’re looking for a motivated and hands-on Production Operative to join a specialist fuel blending facility producing high-performance products for the motorsport, aerospace, automotive, and downstream oil sectors. Based at a lower tier COMAH site, you’ll play a key role in blending and production operations to ensure the smooth and efficient delivery of bespoke fuels.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll work closely with the Production Team Leader to execute the daily blending plan and ensure safe and efficient operations. You’ll be involved in all aspects of production, including tanker receipts and despatches, product blending and movement, decanting, and housekeeping. You’ll also carry out regular equipment care and play an active role in continuous improvement initiatives. Additional responsibilities include acting as a fire marshal, supporting scheduled and ad-hoc activities, and contributing to a high-performing team culture.

Key Requirements

To succeed in this role, you’ll need a practical mindset and a strong work ethic. You should have good literacy and numeracy skills, the ability to interpret written instructions and apply them to plant machinery and equipment, and be physically robust to handle shift work. Experience in fuel or chemical production is beneficial but not essential. A positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team are essential.
