The Role

As our Organic Content / Influencer Manager, you’ll lead the development and execution of our organic content and influencer strategies. You'll bring Mattressman's brand to life across social platforms and our website—driving reach, engagement, and advocacy through dynamic sector-focused storytelling. Your creativity and strategic thinking will shape the voice of the brand, helping us grow an active, loyal community and boost traffic.

Key ResponsibilitiesOrganic Social Content
  • Build and manage a dynamic content calendar that aligns with marketing campaigns, seasonal trends, and product launches.
  • Create and publish engaging, on-brand content across our website and social media channels.
  • Develop and execute a platform-specific social strategy (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).
  • Partner with design, product, and technical teams to produce original assets—including blog content—that drive engagement.
  • Stay ahead of trends, new features, and content formats to keep our social presence innovative and competitive.
  • Analyse performance data and industry insights to refine content and explore new growth opportunities.
  • Deliver monthly performance reports and propose optimisations based on data insights.
Influencer Marketing
  • Define and deliver an influencer marketing strategy, with tactical support from the Marketing Coordinator.
  • Own the influencer campaign calendar to ensure consistent and impactful outreach.
  • Alongside the Marketing Coordinator, build relationships with creators, including negotiating partnerships and generating ongoing content pipelines.
  • Launch and scale UGC initiatives to amplify reach and build community trust.
  • Track campaign effectiveness, report performance metrics, and adjust tactics to improve ROI.
What We're Looking For

This role is perfect for someone who’s ready to take ownership and grow. We’re looking for:

Experience
  • Previous experience in organic SEO, digital content and influencer marketing roles—retail or lifestyle sector experience a plus.
  • Proven success in building engaged communities and executing influencer collaborations.
  • Comfort working directly with content creators and managing commercial arrangements.
  • Bonus: Experience with tools like Google Analytics.
Skills & Attributes
  • Excellent copywriting skills and the ability to craft a consistent, compelling brand voice.
  • Deep knowledge of major social platforms, their features, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Creative storytelling instincts with a strong visual and cultural sensibility.
  • Data-driven mindset—able to interpret social metrics and inform future content strategy.
  • Strong multitasking and campaign management skills.
  • Proficiency in tools such as Meta Business Suite, Later, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or CreatorIQ.
