Job Title: Senior Front End Developer

Job Description:

Are you a skilled Front End Developer seeking an opportunity to work with a modern tech stack on Greenfield projects?

You could be progressing your career in a senior, hands-on role at an eCommerce payments solutions provider that has experienced great success in the last year and is growing as a result.

As a Front End Developer, you will take ownership of projects within an Agile development environment, focusing on Vue.js development to evolve and scale existing platforms and work on new Greenfield projects. You will manage all aspects of the frontend stack to produce high-quality white-labelled Progressive Web Applications and websites for major retail clients.

You will collaborate with UI/UX Designers to ensure technical feasibility, optimize applications for speed and scalability, build reusable code and libraries, and proactively suggest improvements. As a senior team member, you will also mentor and support junior team members.

Location / WFH:

Work two days a week onsite in Billericay (free parking) and three days remotely, with flexible working hours.

About You:

• Experience mentoring with strong technical project and people leadership skills
• Proficiency with web technologies such as HTML5, CSS, SASS; build tools like Webpack, Gulp, and CLIs; REST APIs, GraphQL (training provided for new technologies)
• Good understanding of UI/UX design principles
• Experience working on high-performance/high-traffic websites; eCommerce experience is a plus
• Collaborative with excellent communication skills
