Join us as a Senior Adoption Software Engineer at Barclays

In this role, you will bring to life a new Digital Platform capability by transforming and modernising our digital estate to build a market-leading digital offering with customer experience at its core.

This is a key role where you will adopt a Product Operating Model mindset, understanding customer, business, and technical challenges to support the adoption and integration of new technology across multiple lines of business. Your responsibilities include writing code in Java, working with business teams, and creating solutions through rapid prototyping and proof of concepts using Java, BDD testing, and Public Cloud (AWS).

Required Skills and Experience

• Strong experience with Permissions and Profiles, including policy as code, Relationship Based Access Control (ReBAC), Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC), and Role Based Access Control (RBAC).
• Expertise in Java, BDD testing concepts, and Public Cloud (AWS).
• Understanding of authorization and authentication technologies such as Policy as Code, IAM solutions.

Desirable Skills

• Willingness to challenge and disrupt norms constructively.
• Strong relationship-building skills, patience, and resilience to change.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience with Ping solutions (PingGateway, PingAM, PingIDM, PingDS).
