Job Description

We are seeking candidates with expertise in Law, specifically in the Law of Obligations with an emphasis on the Law of Torts, for teaching and research roles.

The Post

The University of Manchester Law School, part of the School of Social Sciences, is renowned for high-quality research and excellent teaching in Law. To strengthen our research and teaching portfolio, we aim to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Law.

The successful candidate will lead the development of the Law of Obligations, especially Torts, enhancing the School’s international reputation in this field.

Job Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching and research in Law.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop the School of Law and the wider university community.
  • Contribute to the operational functions of the School of Law as part of its academic team.
