Business Development Manager
Location: Field-based

Recruitment Fox is delighted to be supporting our client in their search for an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic organisation, taking ownership of driving new business growth within a B2B environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement a targeted strategy to identify and secure new business in line with annual sales targets.
  2. Maintain a strong understanding of the company’s products and services to effectively present tailored solutions to prospective clients.
  3. Qualify leads, develop opportunities, and close business through consultative engagement.
  4. Provide accurate weekly/monthly revenue forecasts and produce end-of-month reports on market performance.
  5. Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a seamless customer journey throughout the sales process.
  6. Keep CRM systems fully updated and ensure adherence to sales procedures.
  7. Build strong relationships with the marketing team to align strategies and support sector-specific growth.
  8. Partner with the tele-appointment team to enhance demand generation and secure meetings.
Key Requirements:
  1. Proven experience in a customer-facing sales role with a strong track record of meeting new business targets.
  2. Demonstrable success in managing the full sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
  3. Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to influence and engage senior stakeholders.
  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently pitch and negotiate.
  5. Commercial awareness and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  6. Highly developed influencing and relationship management skills, both internally and externally.
Desirable:
  1. Experience within sectors such as Energy, Environment, Health & Safety, or GRC.
  2. Degree level qualification or equivalent experience.
