About Our Client

Job Description

1. Balance sheet ownership for UK entities
2. Provide financial analysis and commentary to senior management regarding variances and financial trends
3. Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual financial closing processes for the UK (Monthly closing leader)
4. Ensure the accuracy of Internal Reporting for Group Consolidation
5. Prepare and review financial statements and management reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP
6. Ensure compliance with local legal, tax including Transfer Pricing, and financial regulations
7. Responsibility for local and Group audit completion
8. Maintenance of proper internal controls
9. Lead and achieve UK statutory requirements
10. Manage Company Pensions Scheme Finance Coordination and Reporting Requirements
11. Develop and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets
12. Support external and internal audits by providing requested information and documentation
13. Collaborate with FP&A in budgeting and quarterly forecasting processes for UK operations
14. Develop financial models and projections to support business planning and decision-making

You will be a technically strong, qualified accountant with experience of audit and controls, ideally practice trained with a process improvement mindset.
