Job description

An exciting opportunity to join our team in LBG’s Energy, Commodities, Utilities and Industrials Credit team as a Senior Credit Officer. In this role, you’ll play a leading part in driving revenue growth and maintaining an appropriate risk appetite to limit credit losses. You will also help shape the strategic direction of the team and deliver its core objectives.

You’ll lead a team of Senior Credit Analysts and Credit Officers responsible for the credit management of a portfolio of Industrials and overseeing the management of corporate clients within the portfolio. Additionally, you will support your peers across the Energy, Commodities, and Utilities sectors. Typical responsibilities include:

1. Leading discussions with originators, relationship managers, and product partners, as well as Senior Sanctioners, to shape credit proposals, set credit risk appetite, and balance risk and reward.
2. Negotiating and evaluating complex financing proposals to find the best solutions for clients and the bank.
