Job Overview:

The Arm Architecture & Technology Group shapes the long-term direction of Arm and its ecosystem.

AI use cases are driving Arm's CPU architecture (for example, SME in Arm v9) and system architectures, that define the fundamental operation for many of the world's computers.

We are looking to bring an established expert, who understands how this technology is used and deployed, into our team as AI system architect.

Responsibilities:

• Identification/research of forward-looking AI use-cases that will drive Arm's roadmap.
• Building positive relationships within Arm and with Arm's partners, including the largest and most innovative companies in the world.
• Leading development of prototypes and proof-of-concepts, that path-find future use-cases and influence the foundational technology we develop.
• Working as the AI domain expert within a multi-disciplinary team, making a significant contribution to ATG's strategy.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Experience deploying AI in real applications, in production (for example, on device/cloud or both).
• Experience with GenAI models (either research/deployment) and AI agents workflows.
• Deep knowledge of the full stack for AI applications including data conditioning and processing.
• Practical understanding of ML frameworks such as Pytorch, Tensorflow, ONNX.
• Experience tuning for performance including the use of accelerators.

“Nice To Have” Skills and Experience:

• Background in computer architecture and techniques for high performance and acceleration of ML workloads.
• Understanding of Android development and internals.
