Position Overview:

Reporting directly to the Senior Quality Engineer, our future Quality Engineer will be responsible for the analysis of SPC and the root cause analysis and corrective action process arising from the SPC results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the SPC and MSA process within the manufacturing location.
  • Leading the root cause analysis from outcomes of the SPC/MSA process to ensure that the results meet customer and IATF requirements.
  • Management and analysis of the onsite SPC process for current production and new project introduction, and effectively managing the corrective action process directly related to the SPC results.
  • Management and analysis of the internal MSA process and ensuring the corrective actions comply with IATF16949 requirements.
  • Communicate the outcome of the SPC and MSA system to the management team.
  • Lead root cause analysis and document and validate corrective actions.
Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.
  • Proficient in core tools specifically in measurement system analysis and statistical process control.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis.
  • Worked within a manufacturing environment in a quality engineer role for at least 5 years.
  • Preferably competent in quality tools: FMEA, PPAP, APQP.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Preferably IATF internal auditing or understanding.
  • Required core tools qualification: MSA, SPC.
