A leading healthcare organization in Oxford seeks a Clinical Director to oversee the operational performance of the Clinical Directorate. The role involves providing leadership, managing clinical services, and ensuring compliance with national standards. The Clinical Director will work closely with various stakeholders to enhance patient care and meet organizational objectives.
The Clinical Director will be accountable to the Divisional Director for the operational performance of the Clinical Directorate. This is a key operational role within the Division, leading the Clinical Directorate to ensure patient-focused services and achievement of national and local targets and standards.
The post holder will provide visible leadership to all staff within the Clinical Directorate and support the Divisional Director in delivering the strategic plan for the Division.
The post holder will collaborate with the Divisional Director to ensure the Clinical Directorate meets its objectives.
The Clinical Director will lead a triumvirate comprising the CD, Operational Service Manager (OSM), and Directorate Matron(s), with line management responsibility for both the OSM and Matrons. This team will work with Service Leads, nursing, administration, and Allied Health Professionals to deliver Directorate priorities.
The post holder will also work with the Divisional Medical Director and Deputy Divisional Medical Director (Children) to promote high-quality patient care and a strong culture of safety and Clinical Governance.
