About the Henry Royce Institute

The Henry Royce Institute is the UK's national institute supporting advanced materials research and innovation. Established to enable the UK to leverage its expertise in advanced materials and accelerate the journey from discovery to application, Royce boasts over £200 million in state-of-the-art facilities, providing world-class research capabilities, infrastructure, expertise, and skills development for academics and industry in the UK materials community.

Role Overview

The project team manages the Royce Industrial Collaborations Programme and a portfolio of multidisciplinary, high-profile collaborative projects. The Project Team Administrator will provide high-quality administrative support to the Royce project team, working closely with project managers, operations, academics, technical staff, and external stakeholders including universities, RTOs, and industry. The role is based in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing effective administrative and financial support to the project team and stakeholders.
  • Responding to external enquiries with a customer-oriented approach.
  • Collating information, distributing reports, and maintaining project files and records.
