Love live music? Thrive in outdoor, high-energy environments? Got serious bar management experience?

Join Arc this summer as a Bar Manager at Thetford Forest Live and other iconic UK festivals!

We’re looking for confident, capable, and licensed Bar Managers who know how to keep things running smoothly, even when the bars are packed and the music's pumping.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Bar Manager, you’ll be at the heart of the action. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading and motivating large bar teams in high-volume, fast-paced environments
  • Running team briefings and setting service standards
  • Overseeing stock control, accurate cash handling, and bar setup/closure
  • Ensuring compliance with Challenge 25 and responsible alcohol service
  • Liaising with event organisers and Arc leadership to keep operations smooth

Bars are typically pre-packaged or mass-dispense—streamlined service, big crowds, great vibes. Most events run Thursday–Sunday, and yes, the shifts can be long—but the experience is unforgettable.

Please note: All staff must make their own way to and from the event site.

What We’re Looking For:
  • Personal Licence holders – Essential
  • Previous experience managing high-volume or festival bars
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable working outdoors
  • Self-sufficient campers – you’ll need your own tent and gear
  • Must be 18+
Why Join Arc?
  • Early access to the best shifts, including Thetford Forest Live
  • Flexible schedule – pick and choose events that suit you
  • Year-round opportunities at stadiums, racecourses, and arenas
  • Easy-to-use staff app to manage your shifts and bookings in real time

We’re building our 2025 festival dream team now, and early applicants will get priority access to the biggest gigs. You can even pick up extra shifts at venues nationwide in the lead-up to summer.

Apply now, and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch soon.

Arc Hospitality Recruitment Ltd is one of the UK’s top event staffing agencies. We’re proud to be an Equal Opportunities Employer and welcome applicants from all backgrounds.
