Community Mental Health, Learning Disability and Autism Care – Complex Packages
Full Time Opportunity | Hybrid/Remote | National Coverage
Salary: £40,000 - £80,000 (DOE) with additional commission scheme.
Overview
At Compass Associates, we are proud to be partnering with a dynamic provider of community-based home care, specialising in complex care, mental health, learning disabilities, and autism support. With over 10 years of experience in delivering rapid response services, they have an impressive track record in this market. Together we are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join them as they grow their operations on a national scale and look to become one of the biggest providers in the market.
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building new relationships with ICBs and Commissioners to secure access to key frameworks and drive the acquisition of new care packages. These will span Complex Care, Non-Complex Care, Live-in Care, and Supported Living, with a focus on community-based Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Autism Care, and Complex Brain Injury services.
To succeed in this role, you will need to be a results-driven individual who is proactive, hands-on, and eager to take initiative. Success will require actively building new relationships with relevant commissioners and seeking opportunities beyond existing frameworks, rather than relying solely on those already in place. Therefore, you will need proven experience in business development within commissioned care services, with desirable expertise in Mental Health, Learning Disabilities, Autism, or Complex Care.
Location
This role is primarily remote, with the option to work in a hybrid model if you are located near one of the company's offices. Please note, however, that the role is not fully home-based, as national travel will be required to meet commissioners, clients, and attend industry conferences.
Package
The salary for this role is negotiable for the right candidate and may exceed the advertised range. As a guide, the package offered is between £40,000 and £80,000 (dependent on experience), plus a commission structure linked to the care packages you secure for the business.
