Are you an experienced manager in Residential Property seeking your next step in a leadership role? This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking, specialist property firm, with a UK wide presence in conveyancing.

Our client is looking to appoint a driven, dedicated, and commercially aware Head of Department to play a key role within their Residential Property team, supporting a diverse client caseload of sales, purchases and technical transactions.

Head of Department - Residential Conveyancing - Responsibilities

• Managing a team of over 30 fee earners at varying levels of experience and technical ability within residential conveyancing.
• Dealing with all day to day operations of four teams.
• Running daily, weekly and monthly reports on team and individual progress to keep productivity strong and quality high.
• Working with Team Leaders to support teams and to also develop them within their management role.
• Liaising directly with clients, solicitors, agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and efficient transaction progression
• Overseeing post-completion formalities including registrations, SDLT submissions, and file management
• Ensuring all Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and professional compliance requirements are fully met
• File reviews, individual 121s, coaching and training.
• As a member of the leadership team this role will be key to any new projects including new processes, resources and technology.

The firm are looking for someone who is already working as a manager of a team within residential conveyancing, for some time.
