The role of the Senior Formulation Scientist – Home & Personal Care is to drive research excellence at Arxada across multiple markets in the areas of personal care & home care formulation. This includes delivering innovative solutions in the form of new inventions and advanced formulation insights and formats for improving preservation and establishing novel format claims related to surfactant, emulsifier, and multifunctional uses in these technology areas.

The role holder will be a key member of a cross-functional team (e.g., Marketing, Sales, R&D, Regulatory) that serves as a key technical lead for growth strategy projects. The individual will provide advice and drive the development of the technical program with Marketing, Regulatory, and R&D leaders.

They will seek to deliver scientific knowledge and insight that advance the industry’s understanding with new information while being aligned to customer/market requirements for the assigned business or product portfolio.

A primary focus for this role will be on the Home & Personal Care business, with a particular view to supporting the implementation of new or revised strategic initiatives. The role will also support projects in Consumer and Professional Disinfection and work with company-wide experts in other divisions as needed.
