Amazon Fashion is a fast-moving, innovative team revolutionizing online Fashion retail to become each customer's most loved fashion destination. We seek candidates passionate about big data, data warehouse technologies (Redshift, EMR, Spark), visualization (Tableau, Amazon QuickSight), and statistical modeling/ML. This role involves designing, executing, and managing the data product landscape used by the entire EU Amazon Fashion & Sports organization. The goal is to improve buying, forecasting, availability, and sell-through management to delight Fashion customers.

The role includes managing the technical debt of over 20 data products, ensuring operational excellence of data pipelines and web applications that provide critical data and insights to internal and external customers. You will also build next-generation products using AWS technologies like LakeFormation to enhance data capabilities and foster innovation.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record with end-to-end ownership of data analysis, including data engineering, ETL, data modeling, and visualization, with high proficiency in SQL and Python. Independence and a relentless pursuit of automation are essential.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Own Data and BI roadmap by collaborating with business leaders on prioritizing requests and adopting new technologies.
• Develop data products with actionable metrics for review with senior leadership and to drive business actions.
• Enable non-technical internal customers to self-sufficiently perform analytics and reporting using BI and visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Amazon Quicksight).
• Maintain and enhance a complex Data Lake supporting reporting, ML models, and central applications used globally.
• Apply statistical and Machine Learning techniques for strategic analysis and communicate findings to senior leadership.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Quicksight, or similar.
• Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
• Experience with statistical analysis packages such as R, SAS, or Matlab.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and scripting (Python) for data processing.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with AWS solutions like EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
• Experience with data mining, ETL processes, and managing large-scale, complex datasets in a business environment.
