Job Description:

We are seeking a Project Manager – GPSD Product Launch and Delivery at Capital Group. As a Project Manager in GPSD’s Product Launch and Delivery, you will lead the delivery of investment vehicle product launches and significant product changes (e.g., guidelines, liquidations/mergers). Your role involves effective planning, organization, communication, and management of project teams, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy and enhancing CG’s launch and execution capabilities across Europe and Asia.

You will collaborate with GPSD leaders to oversee a portfolio of initiatives aligned with strategic business plans. Your responsibilities include analyzing options to address strategic business challenges related to product launches and changes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and recommending approaches to stakeholders. You will develop expertise in end-to-end product launch processes, identify continuous improvement opportunities, and contribute to the GPSD’s launch and delivery center of excellence.

Key qualifications include:

• Minimum of seven years of project management experience with a proven track record of successful project execution to deliver business outcomes.
• Experience in the asset management industry or familiarity with investment products such as mutual funds, ETFs, UCITS Funds, etc., is strongly preferred.
• Experience leading business or technology projects from initiation through deployment in product development, planning, or launch.
• Excellent communication skills capable of facilitating challenging discussions with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proven ability to solve complex problems collaboratively and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with strategic and operational project delivery, including business strategy, technology, and vendor management.
• A mindset geared towards continuous improvement, considering long-term impacts, and valuing diverse perspectives.
• Ability to thrive on challenges and work collaboratively to achieve results.
