GREAT OPPORTUNITY: Female required for 14-year-old Female. LEEDS LS17

Rate of pay is £12.40 per hour (gross) + £2 extra per hour*

A car driver will be preferred. The role involves 4 hours on a weekend during term time and 6 hours during school holidays, which can be both on weekdays and weekends.

Are you interested in supporting a happy, young girl in the home and with accessing the community?

“I am a happy and cheerful 14-year-old! I enjoy going to the park, playing in the garden with bubbles or ball games, and playing games inside. I enjoy music and dance. I can communicate using single words to express my wants and needs, but I am also using Picture Exchange Communication (PECs). I may gesture to something I want, but please encourage me to communicate what I want by using PECs or speech. When out in the community, please hold my hand as I have no awareness of danger or road safety.”

Her parents would first like a PA to support this young person in the home so they can build up a relationship. This would involve playing in the garden with her and doing a variety of activities inside, including playing, drawing, and music. Her parents would like to build this up to a PA taking this young person out for walks, to the park, and other suitable activities.

This role includes 4 hours per week, plus an extra 2 hours in the school holidays. These hours can be used flexibly over the weekend during term time and during school holidays, which could include weekdays as well as weekends. These will be arranged with her parents in advance.

This is a great opportunity to share meaningful experiences with a wonderful young girl, enhance your CV, and develop your skills for your future career.

If you are interested in supporting this happy young girl, please apply via UKCIL.

*This extra payment will be paid to the PA directly by the parents.
