Cost Accountant / Manufacturing Accountant
Are you a numbers-driven problem solver with a passion for manufacturing? Our client is looking for a Cost Accountant to play a critical role in optimizing financial and operational performance. Compensation

• Up to $75,000 annual salary, depending on experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Analyzing production costs, including materials, labor, and overhead, to identify efficiencies.
• Performing detailed cost variance analysis and reporting on key financial metrics.
• Developing and maintaining standard cost rates and bills of materials (BOM).
• Assisting in budget preparation and inventory valuation.
• Supporting financial reporting and forecasting for manufacturing operations.
• Collaborating with accounting and operations teams to drive cost-saving measures.
• Conducting regular inventory analysis, including cycle counts and physical audits.

What You’ll Need to be Considered:

• Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system.
• Strong analytical skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
• A team-oriented attitude with excellent communication skills.
• A degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Manufacturing industry experience is a plus.
