Green House Solar is a locally owned and operated business in Madison, NJ. We are currently recruiting Experienced and Entry-level Solar Installers to join our team!

The right candidate for this position will be a hands-on individual who is interested in pursuing a career in renewable energy and has a passion for going green. We are seeking individuals with energy, ambition, those who are self-sufficient and believe that the product they are installing can change the world! Job Type:

1. Full-time Position
2. $20.00 to $30.00 per hour with overtime available
3. Opportunity for fast growth!

Job Responsibilities:

1. Layout, assembly and installation of solar array and mounting hardware
2. Perform routine maintenance and ability to troubleshoot solar/electrical systems
3. Assist, organize, and perform the safety equipment placement, array layout, racking installation, and module placement
4. Maintain compliance to all PPE and safety regulations per OSHA and NGEE standards
5. Work with the crew to ensure all required parts to complete that day’s project is loaded and stocked into the company vehicles
6. Ability to perform work as instructed and maintain a clean work environment at the end of each day

Requirements:

1. Ability to operate electrical equipment and hand tools
2. Able to lift/carry heavy objects
3. Reliable transportation
4. Pass standard background check
5. Must be willing to work in high places & on rooftops
6. Be able to work late and on weekends, when needed

Education:

1. High School or equivalent
2. Construction Experience a plus!
