Job description

We have an exciting opportunity within our Events department for an enthusiastic Commercial Events & Lets Co-Ordinator.

About the role:

You will join on a full-time, permanent basis (35 hours per week). Reporting to the Commercial Events & Lets Manager, we seek an experienced, organised, and highly motivated individual to manage end-to-end events, liaising directly with clients and being present on event days. This role offers a unique chance to showcase your organisational skills and passion for various events.

Key responsibilities:
  • Assist the Commercial Lets Events Manager with sales, development, and management of the commercial lets business.
  • Provide event experience and logistical/marketing support.
  • Coordinate events operationally as the lead contact for external clients, from quotation and specifications to on-site management, accounting, and invoicing.
  • Undertake client site visits for all types of events.
  • Respond to customer sales inquiries.
Person Specification:

The successful candidate must have:

  • Experience in events management organization.
  • Knowledge of events booking systems.
  • Experience in venue sales, including conference and banqueting.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and bank holidays as required.
  • Experience in using a CRS system (preferably KX).
