BMS Applications Engineer - Remote

£50,000 - £55,000 + 16% bonus

Are you a BMS Engineer with experience in writing and designing Tridium and Niagara software? Are you currently spending too much time traveling to sites or stuck in traffic? Would you like to work remotely with occasional travel throughout Europe? If so, read on.

My client is a globally recognized FM business seeking a BMS Applications Engineer to work across distribution centres for a large technology organization.

Job Duties

1. Create programming logic using flow diagrams, sequences of operation, panel layouts, termination details, and project specifications.
2. Program control applications using various software tools to support operator workstations, DDC field panels, and third-party integration devices connected through multiple communication protocols.
3. Perform job site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications to verify proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposals, and design documentation.
4. Develop system graphic displays according to project specifications or sales proposals.
5. Act as the technical liaison between owner/construction managers.
6. Deliver on-site customer operator training on the use of the installed system.
7. Perform system analysis and diagnostics, determining corrective actions to restore systems to proper operating condition.
8. Coordinate system installation with the installing contractor at the job site as required.
9. Conduct final walkthroughs with owners and construction managers to ensure all punch list items are completed and obtain signoff of substantial completion.
10. Complete assigned projects according to schedule and within budget.
11. Identify new business opportunities through organization memberships, industry publications, and other means of staying updated on industry changes.
