Job Description:

Station Systems Technician - Early & Late Shifts (Level 4)

Join Telent's Engineering Team to innovate and develop solutions, working closely with technical experts to make a significant impact on national infrastructure. Be part of a high-performing team managing complex, critical work.

Reporting to the Duty Manager, the Station Systems Technician will perform planned preventative maintenance on CCTV, CIS, PA, and SISS (Station Information and Security Systems). The role involves working 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between early (6am-6pm) and late (12pm-12am) shifts.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist qualified technicians with fault rectification on CCTV, PAVA, PHP, and CIS screens
  • Attend planned, remedial, or corrective maintenance tasks
  • Maintain SISS assets and report station communication faults
  • Utilize field IT equipment for maintenance data
  • Coordinate with Telent Service Centre for tasks and fault updates

Candidate Profile:

This entry-level role suits hands-on individuals who enjoy multitasking and learning. Experience in a similar role or knowledge of Network Rail health & safety procedures is advantageous.

Key Requirements:

  • CCTV, IP networking, or electrical background
  • Proficiency with O365 and IT awareness
  • Problem-solving and fault-finding skills
  • Full UK Driving Licence
  • Availability for 4 on 4 off 12-hour shifts, alternating between early and late shifts
