About this role
We are seeking an IT project manager based in Stevenage to join our Inetum UK technologies team. The primary focus will be on customer business information systems (IS) and data, including assessing data sensitivity, creating plans, and work packages to achieve regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the customer programme lead, IS/data owners to identify information systems containing controlled data.
- Declare identified IS in an enterprise database using information capture templates to ensure compliance with export control regulations, user access, data shareability, and security.
- Work with IS/data owners to compile and present regulatory evidence to internal assessors and export control officers for review.
- If an export control referential is unavailable, develop workaround work packages to provide user access accreditation based on jurisdiction/regulation of the data.
- Maintain and prioritize a workstack backlog aligned with the business roadmap and database information quality.
- Facilitate local and cross-functional workshops and provide regular updates.
Skills & Experience
- HND/Degree in Business Information Technology or relevant experience.
- Experience with data management and classification, particularly export control & ITAR.
- Knowledge of data analysis, management techniques, and tools.
- Familiarity with the IT ecosystem, development lifecycle, and environments.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in defining project deliverables, creating WBS, and work packages.
- Stakeholder communication skills, including RASCI management.
- Ability to prepare and maintain project roadmaps, schedules, and RAID registers.
- Working knowledge of project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Trello).
- Strong customer-facing, organizational, teamwork, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
- Candidates must undergo SC security clearance and be UK residents.
Location
- Office hours are Monday to Friday, with three days per week at the Stevenage office.
