Principal Geotechnical Engineer - Home Based, Coventry

Join our client, a leading provider of ground investigation and geotechnical services, as a Principal Geotechnical Engineer. This role is based in their bustling Central office in Coventry and involves working with an experienced team to deliver exceptional services to a diverse client base across the Central Region, with potential involvement in international projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Thrive in a dynamic, office-based role (minimum 3 days per week), collaborating closely with project managers and their teams to drive business development, manage key accounts, and ensure adherence to company procedures.
  2. Leverage expertise in geology and geotechnical engineering to support project delivery on time and within budget, maintaining high standards of service.
  3. Contribute to the growth and development of the team by providing training and mentorship to junior staff.
  4. Write interpretative reports and provide expert advice to clients.
  5. Present technical information at local and regional meetings and conferences.
  6. Proficiently use borehole log software and data formats, such as AGS 3.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Completion of relevant health and safety training schemes, such as CSCS (Manager level), SMSTS, and CDM 2007 Regulations.
