Sales and Recruitment Executive - Apprenticeships

Salary £30-35k pa

Monday to Friday office-based (potential hybrid for the right person)

Responsible to: Centre Manager

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-reputed Training Provider in a fast-paced yet rewarding role as we are expanding our delivery. You will be working in a crucial role within our small, hardworking, and expanding sales team. As part of this role, and to achieve our ambitious targets, you will promote our portfolio of services to current and new employers, including Apprenticeships, Skills Bootcamps, and Commercial Training. You will provide excellent customer service, be responsive, and committed to realizing our vision and ambitions.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Achieve targets by promoting a range of global provisions to employers, including Apprenticeships, Skills Bootcamps, and Commercial Training.
  2. Promote and encourage employers to engage with Global.
  3. Contribute to growth and quality priorities as set out in the Business Development and Employer Engagement Strategy.
  4. Support colleagues, especially Trainers, in account management roles with SMEs and larger employers.
  5. Assist employers with the Apprenticeship Service, including completing agreements and paperwork.
  6. Attend employer forums and groups to raise Global's profile.
  7. Generate employer leads, respond to inquiries, and conduct initial needs assessments.
  8. Encourage employer involvement in activities like course planning, employer forums, and briefings.
  9. Manage the Apprenticeship Service Account, including creating and editing cohorts.
  10. Build relationships with referral sources.
  11. Coordinate telesales activities as appropriate.
  12. Liaise with curriculum staff to design tailored programs.
  13. Work with the Operations team to record sales activities and referrals.
  14. Arrange joint visits with delivery staff to develop employer-specific provision.
  15. Support employer events, including recruitment and forums.
  16. Develop partnerships with employers, schools, and other organizations.
  17. Create local and regional networks to promote Global.
  18. Stay informed about curriculum and funding developments related to employer provision.
  19. Record all employer activities in relevant systems.
  20. Contribute to strategic planning and marketing strategies.
  21. Maintain high standards of customer service.
  22. Support quality assurance and development initiatives.
  23. Promote Equality, Diversity, Safeguarding, and Learner Voice.
  24. Comply with Health and Safety regulations and promote risk management.
  25. Engage in ongoing personal development and training.
  26. Perform any other duties as required.
  27. Review student progress to ensure standards are met.
  28. Uphold values, conduct, and safeguarding commitments.
  29. Perform ad hoc duties as assigned by management.

Skills and Experience Required:

  1. Proven success in apprenticeships and work-based learning contracts.
  2. Strong local industry knowledge.
  3. Experience working with Levy-paying employers.
  4. Excellent engagement and presentation skills with a drive for excellence.
  5. Track record of developing business solutions proposals.
  6. Active networker with a strong social media presence.
  7. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  8. Ability to identify development opportunities and stay updated on policy and funding changes.
  9. Management skills to motivate and inspire teams to meet and exceed targets.
  10. Effective communication and personal responsibility.
  11. Flexibility to work according to business needs.
  12. Relevant work experience.
  13. Knowledge of Ofsted and Education Inspection Frameworks.
  14. Organizational and interpersonal skills.
  15. Understanding of Safeguarding, Prevent, and E&D policies.
  16. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  17. Knowledge of the Education & Skills Sector.
  18. Sales experience is preferred.
  19. Strong organizational and IT skills.
  20. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  21. Discretion, tact, and confidentiality.
  22. Attention to detail and accuracy.

Qualifications Required:

  1. Minimum Level 4 qualification in a relevant area.
  2. Level 2 IAG qualification or higher.
  3. Regular Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  4. Participation in industry webinars.
