Education and Training

£20 - £30 Per hour

Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to KS3 students in English and Maths
  • Develop tailored intervention plans to address individual student needs
  • Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience in teaching English and Maths at KS3 level
  • Strong understanding of the KS3 curriculum
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
  • Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role

Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to motivate and engage students
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of effective teaching strategies and learning styles
  • Experience in delivering intervention programmes

This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will be required to work closely with students, parents, and teachers in a supportive and educational environment.
