Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring to KS3 students in English and Maths
Develop tailored intervention plans to address individual student needs
Monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and teachers
Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance
Qualifications:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience in teaching English and Maths at KS3 level
Strong understanding of the KS3 curriculum
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a similar role
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to motivate and engage students
Strong organisational and time management skills
Knowledge of effective teaching strategies and learning styles
Experience in delivering intervention programmes
This role involves working part-time hours on a temporary basis. The tutor will be required to work closely with students, parents, and teachers in a supportive and educational environment.
