About This Role

Joining us as Head of Customer and Market Insights (CMI) UK & Ireland, you will be responsible for developing the affiliate CMI strategy and leading the CMI affiliate team to drive performance as a trusted partner to the business. CMI can accelerate business performance through helping the business to understand the current market situation and using insights to predict future trends.

Responsibilities include performance reporting, data-driven insights generation, accurate forecasting, and leading strategic projects. You will support critical business decisions by providing data, analysis, and business case content. This role is a key link to regional and global teams and is part of the Customer Excellence and Operations leadership team.

This is a hybrid role based in our Maidenhead offices.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and manage the CMI team
  • Oversee forecasting and planning for the UK & Ireland affiliate
  • Conduct market research and competitive intelligence activities
  • Provide insights and analytics to support decision-making
  • Translate data into forecasts and strategic insights
  • Drive innovation in analytics and business processes
  • Manage supply demand planning and stock management schemes

Who You Are

You are a leader with experience in customer and market insights, including managing teams and delivering forecasts. You have a background in pharma/biotech, strong analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders. Your expertise in forecasting, market analysis, and strategic thinking will support data-driven decisions that enhance business success.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • Proven experience in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry
  • Experience leading insights functions and managing change
  • Strong leadership and development skills
  • Advanced analytical and strategic skills
  • Ability to operate in a competitive marketplace and influence in a matrix organization
  • Excellent communication and personal presence
