Senior Planner / Planning Manager

We are working with a client who offers a range and depth of civil engineering, infrastructure, and building services. They contribute to vital parts of the nation's life through projects of strategic importance, while delivering those less visible, yet essential, works required by both private and public sectors. They build, renew, maintain highways, airports, railway infrastructure, and commercial, industrial, and educational buildings.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Planning Manager to join the project team on a permanent basis based in Winchester.

The client has recently been awarded the M3 Winnall Roundabout Scheme, worth approximately 210 million pounds.

Construction is scheduled to start in early 2025 and finish in late 2027.

Programmed works include creating four traffic lanes in each direction of the M3, building a same-direction free-flow link between the M3 and A34, constructing three new bridges, rearranging the main junction 9 roundabout, and providing other structures including new underpasses.

About you

• Expert knowledge of planning practices across different sectors, focusing on the benefits of various approaches.
