Looking to take the next step in your Meeting & Events Sales Office management career?

We are recruiting for a Meeting & Events Diary Manager to join the team at one of the UK’s largest meeting & event venues - De Vere Beaumont Estate in Old Windsor.

As the Meeting & Events Diary & Conversion Manager you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Director of Meetings & Events. This role involves overseeing the management of 45 meeting spaces and 429 bedrooms. Ensuring the smooth and strategic operation of the Meetings and Events Enquiries team that sits within the sales office. You will be primarily sales-focused overseeing the corporate enquiries team of six,monitoring the teams enquiries, showrounds, conversion and the achievement of revenue targets through effective diary management, and hands-on support

Your Skills & Experience:

  • You have Diary Management/Meetings & Events Sales Management experience to include enquiry handling, conversion activities, and conducting effective site visits.
  • You have a good commercial understanding of Meetings and Events within hotels in order to make crucial decisions to grow the business.
  • You have experience working in a fast paced busy event sales environment and working as part of a senior management team to achieve strategic business goals and results
  • You have experience of and enjoy supporting and motivating a team to prioritise their workload and achieve targets
  • Experience with Opera or equivalent hotel booking system
