Opportunity

We seek a Senior Scientist in Multicellular Disease Models to develop disease-relevant multicellular models with multi-parametric endpoints, support target validation experiments, analyze scientific data, and maintain laboratory operations. You will contribute to research and project success, collaborating with wet-lab scientists and data scientists, and helping shape our organizational culture.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Design, optimize, and establish 3D multicellular and complex cellular models mimicking human tissue and disease states for target biology interrogation.
  2. Contribute to mechanism of action studies using cellular and molecular biology techniques.
  3. Utilize cellular and molecular biology expertise to advance projects on novel target biology.
  4. Generate and analyze biological data for drug discovery projects.
  5. Ensure efficient lab operations and contribute to team responsibilities.
Professionally, you have
  • A PhD plus 3-5 years of experience in biotech, pharma, or academia, with a strong record in assay development and target validation.
  • Expertise in immunology, evidenced by publications.
  • Experience with mammalian cellular models, including 2D and 3D assays, with disease-relevant endpoints.
  • Proficiency with multi-parameter endpoints such as flow cytometry, microscopy, and RT-qPCR.
  • Knowledge of gene editing tools (e.g., CRISPR/Cas9) and RNA interference.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and present findings effectively.
Desirable Knowledge or Experience
  • Previous experience in pharma or biotech environments.
  • Familiarity with electronic lab notebooks and SOPs.
